Career Highlights

Austin History Center

  • Managed 125 TB of digital assets at Austin History Center | City of Austin using Preservica and ArchivesSpace software developing a strategic plan for long term digital preservation.

​

  • Received Summerlee Foundation Grant for Art & Archives speaker series, a program hosted by Archivists of Central Texas (ACT) that provides a space for local artists to come together in conversation with archives and library professionals in order to explore how their practice engages with archival materials and historical narratives (2022).

​

  • Fundraising Chair and Co-Chair, Austin Archives Bazaar (2019 & 2021-2022).

​

  • Collaborated with AHC Staff in the development of preservation workshops focusing on personal archiving at the Austin History Center, for Stories from the South: An Archiving Series for the Family! at the Asian American Resource Center (2022), and the Austin Archive Bazaar (2016, 2018).

​

  • Created digital literacy program for Digital Inclusion Week (2018).

​

  • Received Summerlee Foundation Grant for panel program Fact Or Fiction: Developing Information Literacy which focused on how archivists' appraisal, arrangement, and outreach practices help shape historical narratives, and how historians use and interpret historical records in light of archival silences and oftentimes conflicting, biased primary source materials (2018).

  • Supervised interns with metadata remediation for 1000s of records​
